Singing Lessons

I believe I’ve found, in Jules, a rare teacher who can empathize with the emotional difficulties I have around being heard singing. Jules had immediate faith in me because she has faith in what she does.   She knows her stuff:   She would identify my strengths and weaknesses and instruct me simply and positively.  Without her particular form of encouragement I would not have continued to my current level. Georgie G.

Jules is an excellent teacher. She pinpoints exactly the areas where you can improve and explains what you need to do differently. She's always supportive and helps you get it right whilst having fun.  I always feel I've achieved something each week and have something to work on for the next time. I never realised singing involved so many parts of your body but Jules is helping me put these all together and to have the confidence to sing out loud! Heather S

Jules has a relaxed and friendly style which put me at ease and allowed me to feel more confident.  In the space of 2 lessons I moved from feeling I couldn't sing anything to feeling I could sing in tune!  I learnt some really useful tips which enabled me to sing with greater confidence.Sue R

My lessons with Jules have helped me find a reward from singing which has always been missing before and for the first time I have been able relax enough to actually enjoy it. Simon D

Voice Coaching

The relaxed approach to sessions with Jules has allowed me to learn and practice new techniques in a comfortable and supportive environment. I have found the techniques easy to apply in a work setting and have received positive feedback about my improved vocal delivery during meetings and presentations. Phil B.

I am writing to thank you for your input into the Revitalising Leadership Programme. Your input was very well received, with participants saying how enjoyable it had been. Participants were particularly  appreciative of how you managed to get the whole group engaged given that many of them had never been involved in this form of collective activity before.

Workshops

Jules ran a singing workshop for NHS staff members. She was a warm and approachable leader, quickly settling the group in for the afternoon, introducing what would be happening and what would be expected of them. Jules’ choice of music was rich and varied, simple exercises to get everyone warmed up and relaxed into a mixture of world music and finishing the afternoon with a more challenging piece. A really enjoyable experience (all our feedback gave Jules 5 out of 5!) lots of fun and the start of what we hope might be a staff choir.

Thank you again for the great Working Voice workshop you led at our school last night. It was very informative and although you gave us lots of information, it was easy to follow and not too technical. We all enjoyed the practical activities and it has certainly made us think about how we use our voices in class and in the playground. Thank you again for an enjoyable and very useful workshop.

My Mother suffers from Dementia and the singing and sitting exercises are really beneficial to her. She enjoys them immensely and so do I. Jules' easy friendly manner, sense of humour and musical skills have made her liked and respected by all who attend. A fun time is had by all and the place is always packed which speaks for itself. With grateful thanks  Mike L.
